AROUND P190,400 worth of shabu was seized by authorities from three drug “peddlers,” including a woman, in a separate buy-bust operation Tuesday before dawn in Caloocan and Malabon Cities.

Caloocan Police Chief P/Col. Ruben Lacuesta said elements of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) led by P/Maj. Dennis Odtuhan conducted a planned drug sting operation at around 1:20 a.m. at NHA, Barangay 175, that resulted in the arrest of one suspect in the area.

Lacuesta said his men were able to confiscate from the suspect, who was listed as a “high-value individual” (HVI), more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P102,000 and marked money.

At around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, personnel of Malabon Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested two drug personalities at the corner of Ilang-Ilang and Talabahan Streets, Bgy. Baritan after they conspired to sell illegal drugs to a police poseur-buyer.

Malabon Police Chief P/Col. Amante Daro said two drug suspects were captured during the operation in the said area.

Operatives of SDEU led by P/Capt. Alexander Dela Cruz seized from the suspects five plastic sachets containing more or less 13 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P88,400 and the P500 marked money.

The seized illegal drugs from separated drug bust operations were turned over to Northern Police District (NPD) Forensic Unit for quantitative and qualitative analysis while the arrested suspects were presently detained at the Custodial Facility of Caloocan and Malabon Police Stations.
