
3 drug peddlers yield P1 million worth of shabu in QC sting

THREE drug peddlers were arrested and yielded more than P1 million worth of shabu in two separate anti-drug operations in Quezon City, acting Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Colonel Melecio Buslig Jr. said yesterday.
Buslig Jr. identified the three as alias Erwin, 45; Mark Gil, 42 and Erickson, 41.
Erwin and Mark Gil were collared by the La Loma Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Unit during a buy-bust at around 2:50 a.m. on A. Bonifacio Ave., Balintawak, in Bgy. Balingasa, QC.
Confiscated from them were 150 grams of the illegal stuff worth P1,020,000.
On the other hand, “Erickson” was arrested by the Anonas Police Station in his residence at Bgy. Cruz na Ligas, He yielded 20 grams of shabu worth P136,000.
A check with the ISAV (Investigation Solution Automatic Verification) revealed that Erickson had previous cases for the same violation in November 2018 and October 2021.
Buslig Jr said that the QCPD will remain steadfast in its mission to rid the communities of illegal drugs adding that the operations reflect the dedication of his men in enforcing the law while vowing to bring drug peddlers to cell.
