THE unforgettable four-gold medal winning performances of swimming champion Chloe Isleta in the ASEAN University Games in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand last week will be discussed in this Thursday’s “Sports On Air” via Zoom.

Isleta, the newest “Poster Girl” of Philippine swimming, will talk about her experiences in the 10-nation competition organized by the ASEAN University Sports Council.

Isleta made the country proud by winning four gold medals in the women’s 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke and 200M individual medley and bronze medal in the 50m freestyle, to emerge as the winningest swimmer in the competition.

Joining Isleta in the weekly program are WBA Asia super bantamweight champion Carl Jammes Martin and Guinness jump rope world record holder Ryan Alonzo.

Martin, also known as “Wonder Boy”, made a successful defense of his WBA Asia super bantamweight title following a unanimous decision victory over Charles Tondo at SM San Lazaro in Manila last Saturday.

Alonzo, nicknamed “Skipman”, holds the world record for the most number of consecutive jump rope crossovers during the “Unbreakable” event held at the Ayala Malls in Makati.

This will be the 32nd episode of “Sports On Air”, the hottest and most comprehensive sports talk show on air.

The weekly program is managed by Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight, Ernest Leo Hernandez of SOA, Gerard Arce of Abante, Ivan Saldajeno of Philippine News Agency, Gab Ferreras of Sports Corner, Jean Malanum of Manila Times and Danny Simon of Police Files.
