COMBINED agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Muntinlupa City Police Station on Wednesday arrested three suspected drug traffickers in Metro Manila during a buy-bust operation inside an Alabang mall which resulted in the confiscation of 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million, PDEA chair Director General Wilkins M. Villanueva said.

Arrested during the sting conducted around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday were Vilma Maritana, 51; Richard Flaminian, 59; and an 18-year-old fellow resident of the two in Purok 1, Cupang, Muntinlupa City.

A 4th suspect identified as Fredrick Moldez alias “Kiko,” 40, a resident of Alabang, Muntinlupa City, is still being hunted as of press time, the PDEA chief said.

Villanueva said that recovered from the suspects’ possession were a knot-tied plastic bag containing half-a-kilo of the so-called “poor man’s cocaine” and the boodle money topped by a marked P1,000 bill.

The suspects will be facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of prohibited drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the PDEA chief said.
