GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – Around 224,451 residents belonging to various priority groups have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on the city government’s vaccination program data.

According to the City Health Office, 217,984 residents ages 18 and older, and 22,593 rest of the pediatric population ages 12 to 17 have been inoculated.

Currently, around 164,505 doses of the vaccine are expected to be given by the city government in the coming days for the 1st and 2nd doses.

These include vaccines made by Sinovac, Sinopharm, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, and Gamaleya.

According to City Health Officer Dr. Jonathan Luseco, the number of available doses may not match the administered doses because there are brands of vaccine that can result in 10 doses per vial.

Meanwhile, registration continues for children ages 12 to 17 who want to be vaccinated and the adult population are allowed for walk-in registration for 1st dose and booster jabs for 3 active inoculation sites of the locality.

They can submit their data on the city government’s online registration form at https://generaltrias.gov.ph/covax/pedia.
