Probers said their arrest resulted from a follow-up operation based on the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) investigation of a robbery at a warehouse along Don Jose St. in Bgy. Sto. Domingo, last Thursday, April 21, at around 8:22 p.m.

Investigation showed that a group of armed men barged inside the warehouse and held two Chinese and their employees at gunpoint.

The suspects took an unspecified amount of cash, cellular phones, and a Chevrolet Captiva sport utility vehicle (SUV).

The vehicle was recovered at the operation in Palayan, and police also seized a 45. caliber handgun, two hand grenades, cellular phones, and ammunition from the suspects.

One of the suspects, Paez, identified the two police officers who instructed them to commit the crime.
