2 robbers nabbed, yield P178k loot
POLICE yesterday arrested two robbers who robbed an apartment and fled with P178,000 worth of cash and valuables in Quezon City.
Acting QCPD director Colonel Melecio Buslig Jr. identified the suspects as alias ‘Clarence’, 21, and alias ‘Angello’, 23, both residents of Bgy. San Agustin, Novaliches.
A report from Novaliches Police Station (PS4) commander Lt. Col. Aljun Bautista showed that the incident happened around 4 a.m. in a rented apartment at No. 02 Pilarez Drive, Bgy. San Agustin.
The 37-year-old apartment owner said she heard a loud noise from her bedroom. Upon checking, she saw the suspects prompting her to seek neighbors’ help. But the suspects were quick and fled on foot.
Police follow-up operations led to the arrest of the suspects. The stolen items were also recovered from the suspects.
