2 rape suspects fall
WESTERN Visayas policemen arrested this week two men with rape charges in a separate manhunt operations in Iloilo, Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 director, Brigadier General Sidney N. Villaflor announced Saturday.
One of the suspects, alias Joseph, was arrested in Brgy. San Rafael in Mandurriao, Iloilo City last Wednesday evening.
Operatives from the Iloilo City Police Station 5 and the PRO6 Regional Special Operations Group arrested the suspect.
Rolly, 56, who is facing two counts of rape and five counts of lascivious conduct, was arrested on the same day in Brgy. Zone IV in Cabatuan, Iloilo.
Judge Gemalyn Tarrol of the Iloilo RTC Branch 76 ordered the arrest of the suspect last January 19.
The court allowed Rolly to post a P120,000 bail for the five counts of acts of lasciviousness filed against him.
