2 Porac municipal employees held for drugs

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Two municipal employees were arrested in a buy-bust on Sunday in Porac, Pampanga.

Porac Drug Enforcement Unit led by Maj. Anselmo Pineda with the supervision of Porac police OIC Lt. Col. Ferdinand Alejo and the PDEA RO3 conducted an anti-crime drug operation in Bgy. Jaklung, Porac Pamapanga which led to the arrest of municipal employees and high-value targets Jerome Mallari alias Bukol, 30, of Purok 1, Bgy. Pulung Santol, Porac; and Angelito Lansang, 55, of Model Community, Pio, Porac.

The two suspects yielded six plastic sachets of shabu worth P24,400 and the marked money.

Police impounded a van with markings “Municipality of Porac Ambulance” and a motorcycle used by the suspects in their illegal trade.

The suspects are now under the custody of the Porac police.
