2 nabbed for guns, shabu in Batangas
BATANGAS authorities arrested two suspected drug peddlers in separate drug buy-bust operations in the cities of Batangas and Sto. Tomas the other day.
According to Batangas police chief Lt. Col Gerry M. Laylo, the suspect was identified as Ronnel Larosa y Maranan.
Laylo said the Batangas City police conducted a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Cuta around 4 p.m. against Larosa, who was arrested after they confiscated three heat-sealed transparent plastics sachets of suspected shabu including one piece of P500 bill buy-bust money, one Remington cal. 45 pistol with one magazine loaded with three live ammo and one 12-gauge shotgun loaded with three live bullets.
In Sto. Tomas City, police also nabbed in another buy-bust operation the suspect identified as Roger Durana y Cayo in Bgy. San Vicente at 2:30 p.m.
The authorities recovered from the suspect one heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu including the buy-bust money, one caliber 38 revolver without a serial number and two pieces of live ammunition.
