2 nabbed for cabbie holdup
POLICEMEN arrested two robbery hold-up suspects who victimized a taxi driver in Sunday morning in Quezon City.
Project 4 Police Station (PS 8) under PLTCOL Leoben Ong identified the suspects as Joevan Oben, 24, and Rowel Cascarro, 29, both residents of Brgy. Silangan, Quezon City.
A report shows the two suspects boarded the driven taxi of victim Samuel Fernandez at about 2:45 a.m.of September 11, 2022 at tje Muñoz Market, Quezon City going to JP Rizal St.
However, upon reaching Molave St., Brgy. Duyan Duyan, Project 3, Quezon City, the suspects, who were armed with cutter knives, allegedly declared the holdup.
The suspects alighted and ran towards Aurora Blvd., Quezon City.
Fernandez saw a Grab driver, who sought the assistance of police officers which led to the immediate arrest of the suspects across Hi-Top Supermarket along Aurora Blvd., Project 4, Quezon City.
The suspects will be charged with robbery before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
