2 MJ peddlers fall in Cabanatuan buy-bust
CABANATUAN CITY – Two suspected marijuana peddlers were arrested in a buy-bust here on Tuesday night.
Nabbed were Alfie Tumangday, 24, jobless, of 343 Purok 3, Bgy. Melojavilla, and John Paul Gonzales, 24, porter, of Purok 3, Bgy. Vijandre, both of this city.
The suspects were busted after Tumangday initially sold P500 worth of marijuana to a police-poseur buyer during a drug deal at his house at 7:50 p.m.
Tumangday and Gonzales yielded eight plastic sachets containing marijuana weighing 23 grams with a street value of P3,900.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 are set to be filed against the suspects.
