2 female vendors jailed for selling P800K shabu

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police on Friday night hauled two women to jail for selling P800,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bulacan.

Bulacan police director Col. Lawrence Cajipe said nabbed were vendors Cheryl Gonzales Quijano, 43, of Blk.5, L21, Northville 4B, Bgy. Lambakin; and Rodelyn Jorge Ronquillo, 25, also of Bgy Lambakin in Marilao.

Members of the Marilao police conducted the entrapment on Marimel Road in Bgy. Lambakin.

Seized from the suspects were 14 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 120 grams and valued at P816,000, a cell phone, a shoulder bag, and the two P1,000 in marked money.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against Quijano and Ronquillo.

“Continuous proactive operations are being carried out as the PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) invigorates its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug- free Central Luzon,” said PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon.
