STA. ROSA, Laguna – Two drug suspects were arrested while 500 grams plastic pack of cocaine worth P2,650,000, a motorcycle, and the buy-bust money were seized in front of a theme park in Bgy. Balibago here for allegedly selling cocaine in clubs and pubs in Metro Manila and Angeles City, Pampanga. The Laguna drug sting was led by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region III Pampanga Provincial Office, PDEA Calabarzon, and the local police.

“Cocaine is a stimulant drug, which means that it produces [a] fast and intense feeling of energy. It is addictive because someone can get hooked after trying it just once,” the PDEA said.

The jailed suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
