2 ‘druggies’ fall, P102K shabu seized, 4 minors rescued in QC

ELEMENTS of the Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) arrested two drug suspects and rescued four male minors during an anti-criminality operation last night in Quezon City that led to the confiscation of P102,000 worth of shabu.

PLTCol. Cipriano L Galanida, PS3 Station Commander, identified the arrested suspects as Dan Mark Martinez, 18, resident of 39 NDR Road, Bgy. Unang Sigaw, Quezon City; and Bebot Abad, 18, resident of Ilalim ng Tulay, Bgy. Balon Bato, Quezon City.

A report shows police were conducting an anti-criminality operation at about 10:40 p.m. on August 2, 2021 along NDR Road, Bgy. Unang Sigaw, when they saw a group of men examining and handing over to one another a small sachet of suspected shabu.

The police officers immediately approached and arrested the suspects.

Confiscated from the suspects were 30 sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 15 grams valued at P102,000.

The suspects will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the confiscated evidence will be submitted to the QCPD Crime Laboratory Office for proper examination and documentation.

The four minors will be brought to the Quezon City Social Services Development Department (SSDD) for proper intervention.
