2 drug personalities fall in Caloocan buy-bust

AUTHORITIES arrested two drug personalities who were listed as high-value individuals in a buy-bust operation Friday before dawn in Caloocan City.

Caloocan police chief P/Col. Samuel Mina said Rommel Bobiles, 33 and Michael Ayuson, 38, both residents of Phase 12, Brgy. 178, Tala were the subjects of more than a week validation and surveillance operation conducted by elements of Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) led by P/Maj. Deo Cabildo following several complaints from concerned citizens regarding their illegal drug activities.

At around 4:15 a.m., Bobiles and Ayuson conspired in selling a medium size plastic sachet of shabu in exchange for P45,000 marked money to a police poseur-buyer along Pili Street, Brgy. 178 that resulted in their arrest.

In his report to Northern Police District (NPD) Director P/BGen. Jose Santiago Hidalgo, Jr., Col. Mina said his men recovered from the arrested suspects more or less 50 grams of shabu with standard drug price of P340,000.00 and the marked money consisting of one genuine P500.00 peso bill and 45 pieces of P1,000 boodle money.

Hidalgo lauded the Caloocan City police for the successful conduct of a buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of two high-value drug personalities.
