2 dead, 1 critical in Naic shooting
NAIC, Cavite – Two were confirmed dead after being shot by three men, while another was in critical condition Thursday, June 23, 2022, in Bgy. Palangue here.
The two victims were found dead on the spot, while another victim is currently being observed at the hospital.
The victims were all residents of the said barangay.
One of the three suspects was arrested during the follow-up operation conducted by the police, identified as alias “Jot Jot”, while hot pursuit operations are ongoing against his two cousins, alias “Laloy” and alias “Janiel”.
According to the initial investigation, the incident occurred at 8:00 p.m. when the three victims were riding on a motorcycle and were about to go home when they passed the three suspects who were drinking.
The suspects allegedly blocked them immediately and shot the victims.
One suspect and a victim even got into a fight, and the suspects shot the three victims again before fleeing.
The bloodied victims were rushed to Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital in Trece Martires City, but two were declared “dead on arrival”, and the remaining is in serious condition.
