2 collared for stabbing, mauling in GenTri
CAMP BGEN PANTALEON GARCIA, Imus City, Cavite – Two suspects were arrested by members of the Pasong Camachile COMPAC (Community Police Assistance Center) General Trias City Police Station after their involvement in stabbing and mauling two victims in Barangay Navarro here, Sunday evening, October 2, 2022.
Based on the initial investigation, three suspects were having a drinking session at a junkshop owned by one of the suspects.
A few minutes later, the suspects went to the victim’s house along with two other suspects and connived to stab and maul the two victims.
After stabbing and beating up the victims, the suspects fled away with the weapons used in the commission of the crime.
Upon receiving a report from a barangay official of the said barangay, members of General Trias Police immediately acted, resulting in the arrest of the two suspects.
A hot pursuit operation is ongoing for the immediate arrest of the remaining suspects.
The victims were brought to General Trias Medicare Hospital but one of them was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
