2 Cavite districts join hands to foster dev’t, improve services

BACOOR CITY, Cavite – The towns of Rosario, Kawit, Noveleta, and Cavite, Bacoor cities forged a partnership through the support of Cavite 1st District Congressman Ramon “Jolo” Revilla III and Bacoor City Mayor Edwin “Strike” Revilla in a signing ceremony held in Strike Gymnasium in Bacoor Government Center (BGC) in Molino Boulevard here, Monday, October 17, 2022.

The signing of the partnership agreement was attended by the mayors of Cavite’s first district: Noveleta Mayor Dino Chua, Cavite City Mayor Denver Chua, Rosario Mayor Voltaire Ricafrente, and Kawit Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo, with their vice mayors and councilors and board members and Agimat Party-list Representative Bryan Revilla.

The agreement between the local government of Bacoor and the LGUs (local government units) of the first district was formed to work together to deliver services to Caviteños. Some of the services that LGUs can share are disaster response, mainly the implementation of Rescue 161, social services such as medical, burial, and educational assistance, relief and rehabilitation, peace and order, and others.

The collaboration between the 1st and 2nd districts of Cavite will lead to the crafting of programs for economic development, adjustment of infrastructural projects, environmental protection, and efficient and reliable disaster response.
