1st ever Pokémon Battle Festival Asia open Nov. until Feb. 2022
BEGINNING this month, November, until the end of February 2022, the Pokémon Company will launch its first ever Pokémon Battle Festival Asia 2021. The festival will not only feature regional tournaments for Pokémon GO and Pokémon Trading Card Game, but also a variety of exciting programs that will surely be enough to make anyone a Pokémon fan.
One of the highlights of the event is definitely the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which will be among the featured titles of the festival. Fans can also look forward to other popular titles such as Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE and Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The tournaments in Pokémon Battle Festival Asia will feature players from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon GO and Pokémon TCG tournaments will take place online, so players can compete in the comfort of their own homes. Players will need to qualify on a national level in order to make it to the regional stage, where they will compete against the best players in the Asian region.
Besides the tournaments, a variety of programs have been planned to keep viewers captured in the world of Pokémon. The programs include celebrity showmatches, fun segments and special events, where famous celebrities and influencers from multiple regions will show off their skills and passion for their beloved games. All the action will be broadcasted live to allow interaction with the viewers.
Here is a rundown of the activities and featured titles in the Pokémon Battle Festival Asia 2021: For the Asia regional tournament for players, the featured titles are Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Trading Card game.
For the titles Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and Pokémon Trading Card Game, there will be an invitational exhibition tournament with guests.
