1ST EPD-CONVERGENCE meet

THE Eastern Police District (EPD) conducted the mass oath-taking of around 100 advisory council members during the 1st Convergence of EPD Advisory Group For Police Transformation and Development at Tanghalan Pasigueno in Pasig City recently.

The convergence is in line with the realization of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. PLAN 2030 “Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule of Law and its commitment to bring their services towards the attainment of a “safer place to live, work ànd do business” as stipulated in their mission.

The convergence was also in fulfilment of the EPD’s Performance Governance System (PGS) for P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 towards its Institutionalization Stage in line with the 5-Focused Agenda of the C, PNP, the EPD-District Plans Strategic Management Division.

The one-day convergence anchored with a theme “Stronger Team EPD Pamamarisan ( Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina and San Juan) towards Peaceful and Progressive Metro East was attended by the different advisory councils of EPD namely District Advisory Council (DAC) chair Mr. Joseph Aaron Miravalles ; Pasig City (SAC) chair Judge Danilo Cruz; Mandaluyong CPS (SAC) Atty. Gabriel Corton; Marikina City (SAC) Councilor Serafin Bernadino ; San Juan City (SAC) ,Councilor Warren Villa and District Force Mobile Batallion (DFMB) chair Ramon Fernando.

The event was also attended by four police chiefs of EPD composed of Pasig Police Col Celerino Sacro Jr; Mandaluyong PCol Cesar Gerente; Marikina PCol Earl A. Castillo and San Juan PCol Francis Allan Reglos and other distinguished guests.

The EPD showcased the milestone of the P.A.T.R.O.L. PLAN 2030 and best practices as well as outputs focusing on the different areas such as identifying Goals, Gaps and Steps currently undertaken which are aligned in the program .

The EPD’s Kabataan Kontra Droga At Terorismo (KKDAT) and the PNP personnel of Team EPD PaMaMariSan and DMFB also showcased their talents during the said convergence.

EPD director PBrig Wilson Asueta led the mass oath-taking of the 100 Advisory Council members. This was followed by distribution of Certificates of Recognition to its members.
