192 held for illegal gambling in Batangas
CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – The entire Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel were instructed to suppress illegal gambling in the country, the Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) Officer-in-Charge (OIC) P/Col. Pedro D. Soliba under the supervision of PRO Calabarzon (Police Regional Office Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon) acting Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr. conducted operations recently in the province of Batangas, Provincial Police PIO (Public Information Office) Chief P/Lt. Pauline Pecaso said the other day.
Soliba said there were 192 suspects arrested involved in several illegal numbers games.
The operatives seized a total of P45,890 cash in the said operation.
