THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported 147 new confirmed COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad.
There were also 76 new recoveries, and 16 new fatalities among Filipinos overseas.
The DFA said there are now 97 countries and territories with confirmed cases of COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad, following reports from the Middle East and Africa.
Compared to last week’s figures, the total number of COVID-19 fatalities, under treatment, and recoveries slightly increased by 1.29%, 0.75%, and 0.62%, respectively.
The DFA continues to monitor the situation of overseas Filipinos and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.
