14 law violators jailed in Bulacan

CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan – Police arrested over the weekend 14 persons for different crime offenses.

In a report to Bulacan police director Col. Manuel Lukban Jr., nine suspects were nabbed during anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by the operatives of Angat and Pandi Municipal Police Stations.

The suspects, who were caught engaging in illegal cockfighting, yielded fighting cocks, gaffs and bet money in different denominations.

Meanwhile, four suspects involved in different crime incidents were arrested in Baliwag, Meycauayan and City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJM).

The four were identified as Jeffrey Uy of Capihan, San Rafael, who was nabbed for violation of Republic Act 8353 (Anti-Rape Law) in relation to RA 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse Law); Melchor Agustin of Gaya-Gaya, CSJDM for acts of lasciviousness; Gelo Balidoy of Tungkong Mangga, CSJDM for theft; and Michael Gianan of Bayugo, Meycauayan City for frustrated homicide.

A wanted person arrested in a manhunt operation by a tracker team of the Pandi Municipal Police Station was identified as Virgilio Bailon Jr. alias “Jay-Ar” of Cacarong Bata, Pandi.

Bailon was held for kidnapping and serious illegal detention.

Appropriate charges are being readied for filing in court against the arrested suspects.
