According to Buslig Jr., the round-the-clock drug ops by different police stations in the city complied with the directive of Metro Police Chief Acting Regional Director Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin to dismantle drug-related activities in all corners of the region.

It is also part of the sworn mandates of officers and men of the QCPD to make QC a safer place and everyone feels secured.

Of the 12 arrested suspects, six fell into the hands of the Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) under Lt. Col. Bryan Pajarillo in a buy-bust conducted yesterday morning. They were identified as Khrysa Rose Tongco, 18; Marie Ann Tongco, 31; John Mark del Pilar, 21; Rommel John Ocampo, 25; and Joey Dolfo, 44.

The six other suspects were nabbed one after another by different police stations where they yielded P64,960.00 worth of illegal drugs.

Buslig Jr. said that the suspects were charged with violations of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
