1 killed in car crash; carwash boy ends life in Bataan

BATAAN Police Acting Director Col. Romell Velasco on Thursday reported the death of two persons in separate incidents in Mariveles.

Based on the report of Mariveles Police Chief Lt. Col. Emelito dela Cruz, a road accident at the Bypass Road in Barangay Baseco Country, Mariveles, resulted in the death of a motorcycle rider and injured two back riders.

A motorcycle was driven by construction worker Julius M. Grajo Jr., 21, with his two back riders, all residents of Bgy. Sisiman was going to Mariveles town proper when it collided with a trailer truck.

The three victims were rushed to the Mariveles District Hospital, where Grajo was declared dead upon arrival while the female back rider sustained head and body injuries, and the other male back rider suffered a fractured left arm.

In a separate incident, police responded to an alleged “suicide” at Bergado’s Car Wash on Gen. Ricarte St., Bgy. Poblacion.

Police said the boy was found hanging from a steel truss with an electric cord tied around his neck.

According to initial investigation, the victim allegedly “argued” with his girlfriend before the incident.
